Support systems for aquaculture and aquatic research facilities must be
stable, reliable and easy to maintain. And each project presents its own
special challenges. Tenji works with you to meet those challenges,
delivering site-specific plans for design and maintenance.
When a local business proposed developing a shrimp farm using
environmentally sound techniques, Tenji was hired by their consultant to
perform a biological review of the project. Within two weeks, we conducted
an on-site assessment and provided a detailed evaluation of the biological
systems, the process and methods used during the feasibility studies, and of
the biologists and systems engineers conducting the studies.
After seeing tanned stingray skins from the Indo-Pacific, basketball legend
Michael Jordan sought a viable synthetic substitute for use on athletic
shoes.
Nike turned to Tenji for help. Through our research, we discovered that the
handles of modern samurai swords are wrapped with synthetic ray skin. We
located a source for the material, and a new line of shoes was born!
